From Where You Are

Happy November! Why do all the fall months have to fly by so quickly? I feel like it was just a few days ago when I was thinking about my Halloween plans. Incase you don’t follow me on Snapchat (Imdrewscott), I was a ventriloquist’s dummy. I’m pretty sure that’sย what it is called. After that night, I can honestly say that makeup is a lot harder to apply than it looks. All these makeup guru’s make contouring look easy, wellllll… IT’S NOT! Enough about Halloween, who’s excited for Thanksgiving?

This outfit has to be one of my new favorites as it features a jacket that I’ve wanted for ages. Topman just happened to mark this jacket down about 75%, so it happened to end up in my closet. It pairs nicely with black denim and a simple top. The material is also a wonderful twill that matches the bronze hardware perfectly.

Biker Jacket: Topman | Denim: Rag & Bone | Shirt: Topman | Boots: H&M

    Love the look,
So ready for thanksgiving and Christmas.
Ohio’s weather is sending mixed signals, it was 70 today. But a week ago it was in the low 40s.
Makes me get excited for Christmas thou!

How do the boots feel? I saw this at H&M but I’m kind of skeptic about the quality of the faux leather? Hope you can share a comment or two about those boots. Also, I NEED that coat?

Hey Harry! I am in love with the boots. I have always been skeptical about faux leather boots as well as I have seen then rub off and crease. These boots however are incredible. They did not hurt my feet at all upon purchase and are still going strong today with no scuffs or creases!

    Hi Drew!

I’ve been reading your blog since forever. I discovered your blog through your youtube channel and I can say that you put a lot of effort in styling all the clothes you have and apparently, YOU LOOK SO DAMN GOOD!

Anyways, I just wanna tell you that you’re one of the reason why I started my blog. Do you have any tips and tricks for a new fashion blogger ? I watched your video on how you make your blog and I wish that you can make a video on tips on handling a blog…?

Thank you so much Drew ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello Eyman, So sorry for this late reply! I think the main tip to fashion blogging is being consistent with original content. I like to post at least once a week and share topics that I really love. Thank you so much for the compliment as well.

Checking out your blog at the moment! Loving it.

These photos are some of my fave – love the way you did the lighting. Also, I really like your new water color brush logo – perfection!

Thanks so much Jennifer! I love the logo as well ๐Ÿ™‚ A few months back at West Elm there was a calligraphy pop up shop and I decided to get a logo made.
