Los Angeles : The Classic

“Proudly serving Intelligentsia Coffee.”

I am so happy to be posting another downtown spot for “yall”. Walking to my internship consisted of passing this large white square building. At the time, it was under construction and I was always curious of the potential. I remember my walk to work and passing The Classic for the first time. I peeked through the window and took a step in. Strong coffee and sweet pastries filled the air. It took me a whole three months to actually take a few minutes out of my day and order a cold brew.

The Classic is located on 9th and Main. It really is a hard building to miss due to the geometric architecture and white finishing. Walking inside is incredible. One wall is full of potted plants encompassed by metal railing. The furnishings remind me of a Swedish interior designer I once saw on Pinterest. Large windows and high ceilings create a airy and bright atmosphere. I believe anybody could sit for hours and work on a project or catch up on their favorite blogs.IMG_2629IMG_2620 IMG_2613IMG_2621

The Classic offers multiple different coffee options along with bottled beverages and pastries. My friend, Xzavia, got a slice of pumpkin bread which was incredibly tasty. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit as I currently only live about four blocks from this hot spot. Do you have favorite coffee drink? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you! I really want to incorporate more of my life into the blog. I typically stick to outfit posts but adding a few different posts here and there would be perfect!

    Hi Drew,

so I just had a picture you pinned pop up on my pinterest dashboard and thought to myself “it’s been a long time I’ve checked in on his blog – let’s see what he’s up to these days”.
I have been around here back in the day when you were scrapbooking (which must have been somewhen in 2013?). You were incorporating more and more fashion blog posts then and it seems like this is what you focus on now. It seems you have found “your” style! Loving all your outfit posts!

Although I don’t know you personally, I am amazed at how much you and your style (fashion, blog, photography etc) have evolved over the past few years! It’s fun to come back here after such a long time and see that you’re still around.

Oh, and I just wanted to add that I absolutely LOVE your photography style! I’m very much at the beginning of finding mine, but I’m happy to have found another source of inspiration for it now! 🙂

So, I’ll stop my rambling. Just wanted to say that I’m very happy for you and I think you are doing a great job on here!
