Today was Veteran’s Day, so we did not have school. A few weeks back I found a really neat bookstore called “The Last Bookstore” on Spring and 5th here in DTLA. I decided to take a trip down there with my room mates along with lunch and finishing with Starbucks of course. Approaching and entering the book store is a whole new feeling. This is not the typical bookstore as it includes book mazes, vinyl stations and many more unique aspects. We explored for a but and picked up a few records and a book on photography for myself.
LA is truly a unique city. Every street corner offers a different atmosphere and feeling. I live on the outer part of the city (At least I think I do). Spring street is really an amazing street offering unique boutiques, millenary shops and Cafe’s. Market was the restaurant we choose for lunch. I got 1/2 grilled cheese and tortilla soup. The tortilla soup is to die for, I have never had a better soup in my life. Market is located under a major building in the fashion district which meant the streets were booming with people.
On the way home I stopped by Starbucks to mainly pick up an early Christmas present for my father plus order a Caramel Macchiato for myself. I always get extra extra caramel as I love the taste of caramel drizzle in every sip. The texture is also really unique which is a main reason of enjoyment (I wont forget about the taste either!). Today was full of adventure and I hope to add more to my “Photo Journal” soon.
