What I did in 2013…

2013 was by far one of my best years to date. I have never done a post like this but I want to go back and recap on the high points throughout this year. As I write this I am overflowing with everything that has happened this year. Taking time to look back shall be enticing. Keep in mind that some of these are Instagram photos. Lets get started…

Screen Shot 2013-12-31 at 12.57.21 AM^ Crafted more that anybody could imagine! Up until the start of college which is one of my most exciting chapters for 2013.

Screen Shot 2013-12-31 at 12.56.10 AMLaunched my online shop which was later closed as my Etsy shop demand overthrew the online shop. I cannot say this is a bad thing (haha).

Screen Shot 2013-12-31 at 1.01.27 AMMy senior photos were taken in Santa Monica with the delightful Wendy Carr. I love them!

IMG_5313IMG_4605I even shot my friends senior photos! I loved that people were trusting me to make a part of their lives into a documented gallery.

look4I started to commit to my outfit posts and posting them on my lookbook account. I now have over 1,400 followers and these posts are my absolute favorite as “fashion is my passion”.

075d1a6ae66511e28fba22000a1fb1a7_7I moved out!!! I actually started college in July at FIDM as a product development student. This was my first apartment I loved in for three months.

photoI got my first internship at my absolute favorite showroom. I am in love with my “job” at the showroom and I am glad to consider the owners my good friends. They have made interning for Seamless Showroom one of my favorite experiences to date.

IMG_0234I also started my very own Stamp Club! Take a look here.

IMG_4554_zps5e6311e7IMG_4681_zps2c08e67dI moved into my new apartment which is the dream that any young designer has in mind. Cement walls, 14 foot ceilings and an incredible view of downtown all alongside the ambiance of the city. Perfection.

I started to knit a scarf. However in the past two months I have only accomplished a few rows.

Yes, 2013 was pretty perfect. I do not have any idea what 2014 has in store but as the months go on those experiences will be documented right here on Scrappyhappiness.com. Next year when this time comes around, I will do another one of these posts and then again the year after that. What was your favorite memory from 2013? Happy New Year!
